It doesn’t matter who you’re buying for – your kids, your other half, or a friend. This guide will have something for you! Christmas shopping is hard enough without spending weeks trying to find the perfect gift, so take a look at this guide and see if you can find something you like:
1. Bike
Whether you’re buying for your kids or your partner, a bike could be a really good gift to give. My son got a junior sized mountain bike when he was five, that we’ve adjusted over the years. My daughter got a bike with training wheels for Christmas two years ago.
Bikes help us to stay fit and active, and let’s face it; they’re a lot of fun too! Going out on your bikes together is a great way to bond. You’ll never be bored again!
2. Bag
Who doesn’t need a high-quality bag to see them through life? They’re a great gift for somebody who’s always moving around or who likes to travel a lot. The recipient will always find a great use for it, so you know this isn’t a gift that will go to waste. Moms on the go would enjoy a great leather bag while kids can definitely benefit from a high-quality backpack to last several school years.
3. Tablet
A tablet can be a wonderful gift for just about anybody. It’s so versatile. You can read, play games, browse the web, work…whatever it is you need to do!
You can get lots of accessories for it too, making it even more practical. My kids each received the Amazon Kindle Fire HD7 for Christmas a few years ago.
4. Lego
Lego sets are a good gift for geeks of any age! You can build all kinds of things with Lego at your disposal; all it takes is a little imagination. I don’t know any kids who love Lego. I even know adults who love them. Both of my kids enjoy building and being challenged to create everyday items from Legos. Here’s a list of 25+ Lego sets, books, and movies for girls.

5. Dressing Up Outfits
One probably best for the kids – dress up outfits are very popular around Christmas time. Kids will love dressing as their favorite characters and will feel extra special on Christmas day. I also keep my five-year-old daughter’s Halloween costumes. (Here’s a perfect gift idea for a five-year-old girl.) That way, she can dress up as Doc McStuffin, Rapunzel, a cowgirl, or a ballerina, anytime.

6. Watch
Providing you take the time to research watches and you don’t just buy one on a whim, a watch can be one of the best gifts ever. It’s a versatile accessory that anybody can wear, and most people won’t be without one.
You can always find a watch to suit your budget, but make sure you take into account features and quality. Shinola watches come in different styles if you want an idea of what’s available.
7. Segway
In case you didn’t know what this item was, I’ll save you the time of doing a Google search – it’s a two-wheeled, self-balancing, electric “skateboard” gadget. The segboard is predicted to be the new way to get around. It’s pricey but could be a great gift for the kids or a big kid at heart.
8. Charm/Bracelet
For the lady in your life – a charm or charm bracelet is always a thoughtful gift. This can be a keepsake they’ll enjoy forever. Also a great gift for other occasions! My husband gave me a Pandora bracelet this year for Mother’s Day complete with a Mother’s Day charm and my birthstone. For my birthday, he added a gift box charm.
9. Clothing Gift Cards
Know somebody fashionable but not brave enough to pick something for them? Clothing gift cards always solve that problem. They’re much less stressful too. You can buy them on Amazon, directly in the store, or from a grocery store/mass merchant who sells multiple brands.

10. Restaurant Gift Cards
If you know a couple who need a date night, give them some restaurant gift cards. They’ll have no excuse not to go! You can also get these on Amazon, directly in the store, or from a grocery store/mass merchant who sells multiple brands. You’ll get bonus points from your gift recipient if you throw in a free night of childcare so they can get out of the house.
11. Magazine Subscriptions
Magazine subscriptions are great value for money and are a good gift for just about anybody. It’s a great treat for kids who love to get mail, for Dad’s favorite hobby, or mom to catch a few moments of peace.
12. Candles
Who doesn’t love a candle with an amazing scent? A good gift for the house proud homeowner.
