Happy National Guacamole Day! I love guacamole on one of my favorite Mexican dishes – Quesadilla Azteca (flour tortillas, grilled and stuffed with shrimp, cheese, mushrooms, and beans. Served with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo), but I digress.
Today celebrates guacamole, which is made from avocado, onion, tomato, chili peppers, and other seasonings. I’ve got something for everyone today, from beginner to culinary connoisseur.
