Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of another working mom is like?
Does she have the struggles that you have? Does she worry about the same things? How does she manage to make everything work?
Outside The Box Mom is dedicated to helping working moms find new ways to create work/life balance and make taking care of their families easier.
I am very passionate about being a working mom, because it’s the hardest thing I’ve had to do. Along the way, I’ve discovered things that work (and things that don’t) that have made this a much more enjoyable ride for me…and my family.
Every day this month, I will be featuring an interview with a working mom just like you.
We’ll learn about what she does for work, her family life, and….her tips/tricks for getting everything done. We’ll find out about:
- her family (married, significant other, children’s ages, etc.).
- where she lives
- what she does for a living
- how she fits blogging (or other passions) into the mix (if it’s not her “day job”)
- what a typical day in her life is like
- the best thing about being a working mom
- the hardest thing about being a working mom
- her feelings about the guilt often associated with being a working mom
- how she handles day to day responsibilities (meals, laundry, cleaning, chauffeuring kids, doctor appointments, school meetings, etc.)
- her best 3 – 5 tips for keeping everything together
- any guilty pleasures she has
- bonus tips she shares to encourage other working moms
My goal is help working moms find a better balance in their life, receive encouragement, and become even MORE awesome. The goal is to help all of us learn and grow. One suggestion from a particular mom may very well get us all thinking about how we can improve what we do.
Stick around during the entire month of October to gain some great insight, encouragement, and camaraderie from moms just like YOU!

I love this series! I’ll be following along as I am also a working (at home) mom as an online professor. I am also doing the write31day challenge! Excited and nervous. 🙂
What a fun series. It’s so interesting to get a quick glimpse into the lives of others in near similar situations. Thanks for sharing!
I love this series! I just went back to work after being at home for a few years so I love to see how other moms do it all — if that’s even possible. I’m definitely a new follower. Looking forward to catching up on all your posts!
This is great! It’s always nice to read about other moms and how they make it all work.

Wow! This is a phenomenal guide. I’ve not seen anything else like it. You’ve hit on pretty much every working type of mom there is.
What a brilliant series. Thank you for showing us a window into so many types of amazing working moms. We need more stories like these in the world to show us there is no one way to do it right.
