Anniversary is one of the most important days of a person’s life. It is the day when you both started a new phase of life. It is very common for your partner to expect something special on that day because what better day to celebrate the love that you both share.

If you’re reading this article, I am sure that you are looking for uncommon new ways to excite your spouse. And, before we go ahead to give you exciting ideas, we wish you a Happy Anniversary in advance! 😉

  1. Going Creative on Social Media

Social Media is a very exciting platform. I am certain all your friends and family are there on Instagram. Why don’t you make a special video of all the moments that you have spent together and upload it with a cute little caption? Don’t forget to tag Your spouse, too!

There are a lot of mobile applications, which help you in creating these videos, easily. All you have to do is select the pictures and videos and combine them all. You can also come up with a special Quarantine Bingo and make sure all of your Spouse’s friends participate while wishing a Happy Anniversary, too.

  1. Prepare a Course of Lavish Meals

I am sure this Pandemic has affected both of your lives, and you are staying majorly indoors. However, this should not be a reason why your Spouse does not deserve Good Food.

Try with a good breakfast, some nice French Toast, or Pancakes or Waffles, some nice Scrambled Eggs, but make sure it is simple and full of love. Efforts are the most special gift you can ever give to anyone. You can also bake a cake, prepare a nice lunch, and of course, finish it off with a romantic candlelight dinner, sweet wine, and minimalistic decorations.

  1. Plan a romantic drive for a Staycation

You can always plan a surprise staycation with your spouse. All you need to do is drive. However, make sure the charges for booking and planning are not on a shared Credit Card or they will definitely get to know it.

You can choose a Romantic Inn, or a Nice Resort, where you can celebrate the anniversary, and spend some time away from your routine lives. Make sure you are not working during that time, and just spending quality time with each other.

  1. Creating and Gifting Anniversary Cards

Cards have been the oldest form of portraying love and affection. You can always choose to get a card and a hamper delivered to your place. However, that sounds so generic!

Have you tried creating a special card on your own? Yes, you heard it right! Make a creative card on your own. You can create a collage of all the moments you have spent together, along with a nice message or a cute little poetry telling them how much they mean to you. Or you cn take help from online websites like GreetingIsland to create anniversary cards to surprise your loved one.

  1. Get an Ideal Gift

Cute little thoughtful gifts might sound cliche but they never grow old! Has your spouse been looking at that beautiful jewelry or that amazing watch has always been on their wish list? Make that gift into a reality for them, and they will love you even more.

  1. Planning a Cute Proposal

Most of you must be thinking, “but we are already married! – why a proposal now?”. Trust me the three magical words can never grow old, not even when the two of you are 80’s sharing 60 years of love together.

Start by wearing nice clothes, then recreating the events of marriage. Exchange the vows, and then share a kiss, and then have a romantic dance and end with a good dinner. This will surely blow their mind and you can relish in the love oozing from their eyes.

  1. Setting up a Virtual Celebration

You can also plan a virtual celebration with all your friends and family. Decide a time, when all of them can connect with You and surprise your spouse with the same. You can also set up personal time for Virtual Beer with friends, or wine-tasting and kitty so that they feel good about the day.

With all these ideas, I am sure you will have an amazing anniversary with so many memories to cherish lifelong!
