How Coolsculpting Can Help You Lose Weight Fast

Did you know that there is a fat-reducing procedure that freezes away fat cells? Fat reduction isn’t the same thing as weight loss, and here is why:

Weight Loss vs. Fat Reduction

In terms of your body, there’s a difference between weight loss and fat reduction. It might be confusing to hear, yet it all has to do with fat cells.

All throughout our lives, the quantity of fat cells in the body becomes a set figure at some point within our teen years. Gaining or losing weight doesn’t increase the number of fat cells in the body yet changes the fat cells’ size. Therefore, when you gain weight throughout your adulthood, you’re increasing the size of cells already in existence.

Once you lose weight through exercising or dieting, you’re making the fat cells inside the body smaller. Losing weight won’t make your fat cells completely disappear. Therefore, if you regain weight, you’ll increase the size of your fat cells once again.

Fat Cells After the CoolSculpting Procedure

So, what is this amazing procedure called? Well, it’s CoolSculpting, of course! CoolSculpting is a procedure that reduces fat, meaning it actually decreases the number of fat cells from your body, and not the size. Through this procedure of fat freezing, you’ll notice a decrease of fat cells within the specific regions you want to treat by 20 to 25 percent.

The frozen fat cells are naturally eliminated and processed; therefore, they won’t migrate to another body part. CoolSculpting, unlike other procedures, won’t change the fat cells within untreated regions. Thereby, those fat bulges left behind regardless of the quantity of dieting or exercise will vanish through this procedure and leave behind a more sculpted body version. You might not weigh less with this new body; however, your clothes will fit better, and you will look thinner. If you live in Atlanta, you can easily find a med spa that offers coolsculpting. However, before booking an appointment for coolsculpting in Atlanta, make sure to find a reputable med spa center to ensure safe and effective results. Remember, it may take several sessions to see significant improvements, but the results are long-lasting.

How Does it Work?

You might be a bit confused about how CoolSculpting works if it makes you lose weight. In the procedure, the doctor applies an applicator installed with a vacuum that sucks in the treated region to better target those fat cells that are grouped together. Then, the applicator produces a precise, controlled cooling to the region that helps encourage fat destruction through freezing. It’s a 100% safe procedure, and you will not have to be concerned with any nerve or skin damage. The temperature is effective for cell death and the skin gets protected by a substance that resembles gel applied before the treatment starts.

Your cells begin to freeze, or crystallize, as the cooling progresses, causing them to die. In the next couple of weeks after the procedure, as they progress, the body naturally breaks down those dead fat cells and gets rid of them through your body’s natural process of waste removal. It enables the body to flush the dead cells. Next, as aforementioned, they’re gone forever with no hope of coming back.

Even after you’ve done the procedure, as with other patients, you might be encouraged to live a healthier lifestyle then become a better version of yourself!
