For Apple Watch, various straps are offered, and each one works with every price range. Any apple watch sports band is available for purchase separately, so you have a choice outside the one with the type of Apple Watch you choose.

The strap widths are 41mm and 45mm. Pick the 41mm model size if you own the 38mm one and the 45mm size if you own the 42mm model for Apple Watch Series 1 – 2 and 3. It is better to go with the 41mm model size if you own a 40mm model or the 45mm model size for a 44mm model if you own a Series 4, 5, 6, or 7. The straps that are 45mm wide are what you need if you own a Watch Ultra.

Sport Band

An ideal Apple watch sports band is composed of fluoroelastomer (a type of rubber) and can fasten with a fantastic closure type, i.e., pin-and-tuck closure. It is found in variants of 41mm and 45mm in 8 colors: Elderberry, Succulent, Slate Blue, White, Starlight, Product (RED), Midnight, and Black Unity.

Why pick?

  • It works well for exercise because perspiration is simple to remove and can be washed off in the sink.
  • Running in warmer weather? It is a must-have.
  • Wearing it during the day would be appropriate.

Sport Loop Band

Sport Loop Band comprises dense loops of woven nylon for added cushion and moisture evaporation on the skin side.

It has a loop and hook closure that allows for rapid adjustment. The band has six colors and size possibilities in 41mm and 45mm. Two years after the Sport Band’s release, the Sport Loop followed.

Why pick?

  • It is constructed of breathable, lightweight nylon.
  • Your wrist is strapped into it, and the hook & loop holds it in place.
  • It is the go-to for exercising.
  • Because the size may be adjusted to any desired range, the Sport Loop is more comfortable than the Sport Band.
  • Because of how light it is, you might as well feel like not wearing anything at all.

Nylon Sport Velcro Loop Band

A nylon athletic band made of breathable material is another preferred option when picking up an Apple watch sports band. A velcro loop band is included for simple wearing. A wide range of colors ideal for every personality is also available with this.

Why pick?

  • All Apple Watch Series 1 to 8, Ultra, and SE devices are compatible.
  • Five velcro pads provide a robust closure.
  • A breathable, lightweight, and non-elastic nylon construction is offered with it.

How to Ensure Your Band Will Fit Your Apple Watch Perfectly?

When selecting a watch band, you should consider your wrist’s circumference and the size of your watch face. All Apple Watch faces range from 38 to 40 millimeters for the lesser models to 42 to 44 millimeters for the larger ones. Before making a purchase, ensure your watch is the right size because watch bands are made exclusively for one of these sizes.

Bottom Line

Most individuals can wear a conventional band length, but if your wrists are larger than average, you might wish to choose a larger size. You should select an XL band if you measure bigger than that. A smaller one will be around 135 to 150mm, a medium one will be 145 and 165mm, and the larger one will be 160 and 180mm.
