If you’re itching to go somewhere that has a rich culture, loads of sights to see, and is incredibly unique, then you should plan a trip to Singapore. This city state in South East Asia is a popular travel destination.

People from all across the globe travel here every year in order to spend their vacation. Singapore has put a lot of effort into establishing its tourism sector. This means that the city has numerous elements that are designed to give foreign visitors a good time.

If you do a bit of research on Singapore, you will realize that this travel destination has way too much to offer. Despite its size, it is brimming with sights to see and places to visit. Singapore’s interesting history has helped the country develop a rich culture and a diverse populace. Elements from all across Asia and the sub-continent can be found over here. And all these elements come together to create Singapore’s unique look and feel.

#1 Super Tree Grove

Singapore’s bay is littered with points of interest. This makes it a superb place to go on a walk. You will also find the Super Tree Grove Light Show along the bay. The grove consists of “super trees” that have lights in them. You can enjoy some amazing light shows over here during the evening.

#2 Spectra Light & Water Show

Light shows are quite popular in Singapore. you can find another light show venue along the bay as well. The Spectra light show takes place near the Sands building. Along with music, the lights in this show are accompanied by water fountains as well.

#3 Cloud Forest

You will find a number of recreational spots in Singapore that combine modern architecture with nature. The Cloud Forest is a concrete jungle; an indoor artificial jungle. This forest has plants growing on the floor and even on the walls. There are also artificial waterfalls in it. The forest itself is encased in a glass dome. This lets you explore the forest while also enjoying the city’s skyline and bay area.

#4 Singapore Zoo

Singapore has its own zoo as well, and it’s a really big zoo. The zoo covers 28 hectares of land and mimics the natural habitat of many species. You’ll find a huge array of animals to look at. The zoo also has tours that let you get even closer to nature. This huge zoo is a great place to spend time if you’re into wildlife.

#5 Haw Par Villa

Singapore has plenty of eye-catching places to explore. One of the most bizarre places that you can visit in Singapore is Haw Par Villa. Also known as Haw Par Tiger Balm, this is a bizarre theme park that has a variety of statues and monuments. All of these depict aspects of Chinese culture. You will find statues that range from looking funny to being absolutely weird.

#6 Rooftop Bars

Singapore has a healthy nightlife. The city has plenty of clubs and bars that are teeming with people who are looking for a good time. There are a number of rooftop bars as well. Rooftop bars let you have fun on top of Singapore’s beautiful skyscrapers. You can have a great time with your friends as you drink and enjoy Singapore’s night view.

#7 Universal Studios

Singapore has a universal studios amusement park as well. It’s a local and tourist hotspot that is always bustling with people. Located on Sentosa Island, it’s a great place to take your kids or to visit on your own. You can find loads of attractions there that will keep you high on fun. Sentosa Island itself gets a lot of tourist traffic as well. This scenic island has plenty of attractions for you to explore. It also has resorts where you can spend a relaxing time or indulge in recreational activities.

Singapore’s Chinatown is a great place for exploring its Chinese culture. There are loads of traditional Chinese buildings over there. You can explore traditional teahouses, restaurants, and temples as well. You can indulge in the architecture or explore the various Chinese foods available there.

#10 Flower Dome

If you want to take in more of Singapore’s natural beauty then you can check the flower dome. The flower dome is the world’s largest greenhouse and it is home to a huge variety of plants and flowers. There are 9 gardens in the dome, each having its own assortment of exotic plants. The garden setting is constantly updated throughout the year for different events and occasions.
