If you have recently lost a loved one, you may be looking for unique ways to keep them in your mind. Here are some amazing ways to remember that special person.

  • Cremation Jewelry

An amazing way to remember a loved one is to have cremation jewelry custom made. Whether you want the ashes of your late family member placed in a gorgeous necklace, a dazzling bracelet, or a dainty ring, it’s the perfect way to keep them close forever. You can get their favourite quote engraved into the jewelry to make it extra special.

  • Cremation Tattoo

People are aware that you can get cremation tattoos . This involves mixing the ashes of your loved one with ink, and using this ink for a tattoo. Most tattoo artist will not be able to legally perform cremation tattoos, as they need additional training and a license in order to give them. Be sure to check with the tattooist prior to booking in with them if you want a cremation tattoo.

  • Plant a Tree in Remembrance

This is definitely not something that everybody will be able to do. However, if possible, you could try planting a tree in remembrance of your loved one. Find a place in your garden, buy some seeds, and slowly watch your remembrance tree grow!

  • Watch Videos of Them

This is a simple yet effective way to remember I loved one. Watching videos of them from the past brings back amazing memories, and it also means that you can see and hear them. This may be an extremely emotional time for you, but it is a great way to feel like you are still connected to the person you have lost.

  • Start a Tradition on their Birthday

In celebration of your loved one, try starting a tradition on their birthday. Whether this is going to their favourite place, or eating their favourite meal for dinner, this is a lovely way to keep them in the forefront of your mind every year.

  • Write and Record a Song About Them

This is one for the creatives out there. Note down some lyrics that best reflect your loved one and sing it alongside some music. If you play an instrument, you can create the music yourself. Alternatively, you can hire a musician to help you. Once you’ve recorded your song, you can play it whenever you want to remind yourself of the wonderful person you want to keep in your heart. It might be nice to play this song at special occasions with the family to give the sense that your lost one is still with you.

  • Buy a Personalised Vase

Flowers are always left for those who have passed. A great way to make your bunch of flowers extra special is to place them in a personalised vase . These vases can be custom engraved with the name of your loved one, or a quote that they enjoyed. Place their favorite flowers into the vase, and keep them on display in your home.
