If you’re looking for a resort with its own marina in Grand Bahama Island, look no further. The Ocean Reef Resort & Yacht Club is just for you.
Before we had children, my husband and I visited my parents’ timeshare in Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas. We stayed for one whole week! We traveled before 9/11, so we were able to travel on just our birth certificates. I had mine and we had to drive to Richmond, Virginia to get my husband’s.
We drove to Florida and then took a Discovery Cruiseline boat from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to the Bahamas.
Welcome to Grand Bahama Island
Even though we traveled in December during the week leading up to Christmas, the weather was sunny and it was at least 80 degrees each day.

That is a beautiful resort. I went to the Bahama Islands on a cruise but I’d love to go to stay in a resort and for a longer length of time. 3 days of visiting the islands just wasn’t enough for me. You have a darling family.
