Movie marathon days are no cook days in this house – so indulgent frozen and packaged meals or delivery are key. We take 20 minute breaks between films to do things like put the food in the oven, assemble the snacks, take the dogs out, prepare the dessert, whatever!

All three of The Santa Claus movies with Tim Allen. Our family does movie marathons of them at least weekly this time of year!
Our family tradition for the holidays–we watch the original Miracle on 34th Street to get ready to watch the Macy’s parade on Thanksgiving Day. We watch ELF while decorating the tree. Anything else is what we all agree upon or at least no one strenuously objects.
We always make cookies and hot chocolate together and then watch our movie.
