After graduating from high school, young people have to decide what they want to do next in life.

Many will choose to go to college, but not all know what they want to study. Here are four popular programs that are often chosen by young people.

Four Popular College Studies Paths

Theology

For those who are interested in religion and what it can do in a person’s life, you may want to choose a career in theology. You will be given Bible study information and learn about the different beliefs one could choose to follow.

Even if you already claim a certain profession, it’s wise to find out what others believe before declaring yours the truth.

Education

When asking young kids what they want to be when they grow up, a common answer is that of being a teacher. Being a teacher is one of the most unnoticed, vital professions in the world.

Without teachers, there would be no knowledge in the world. They are the ones responsible for telling each generation the things they need to learn.

Medical

While known for being a career with guaranteed money, medical fields are not for your gain. Studying a path in this career leads you to help others and doing what you can to see they are happy and healthy.

Whether you choose to be a doctor, a nurse, or a surgeon your job is to heal your patients.

Sports

Several sports programs exist, but not all require athleticism. Some of the more popular ones include football, basketball, and baseball. However, bowling, cornhole, and shooting often go unnoticed.

If you’re looking for a career that involved championships and money, you might want to research different sports.

If you are unsure of what you want to do in life, that’s nothing to be ashamed of. Take your time looking through the different programs available for you to choose from.
