Machas to Burgundy Wine
Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 5 pears
- 750 ml of red wine
- 250g sugar
- Cinnamon powder and cloves, to taste.
Preparation:
Peel the pears, whole. Heat the sugar dissolved in the wine in a saucepan. Add the spices and stir. Place the pears in the pot, ensuring that they are covered by the liquid. Cook over low heat for about half an hour. Remove the pears when they are ready. Continue cooking the sauce until you get a thick liquid. Pasta with Shrimp in White Wine
Ingredients:
- 250g of raw pasta (linguine or fetuccine)
- 500g of peeled shrimp
- 150g fresh spinach
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small onion
- 60cc of Garzón Sauvignon Blanc 2015
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Cook the pasta, strain and set aside. Place a frying pan over medium heat and add the butter. Sauté the sliced onion, finely chopped garlic and shrimp with the chili pepper. Add the wine and cook until the shrimp are done. Add the pasta to the pan and season. Then add half of the spinach. Cook a few minutes, until the spinach is just cooked. Stir and serve. Garnish with some fresh spinach leaves.
Winter Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Garzón Tannat wine
- 1/2 cup Cointreau or orange liqueur
- 2 oranges, thinly sliced
- 2 apples thinly sliced
- 1 pinch cinnamon and nutmeg
Preparation
Cut the oranges and apples into thin slices, without removing the peel. Place them in a jug. Add the Cointreau, wine and spices. Mix well all the ingredients. Cover the jar and let it rest for twelve hours in the refrigerator, so that the fruits can marinate. Remove from the refrigerator and stir. Serve in a glass with fruit slices and add a touch of sparkling water.
Tenderloin in Tannat Reduction
Ingredients:
- 2 loin medallions (over 2cm thick)
- 2 small red onions
- 250 ml of Garzón Tannat 2014 wine
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Season the meat. Place a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and seal the meat. On the other hand, sauté the chopped onions in olive oil. Add the wine and the sprig of rosemary. Spice with salt and pepper. Bring to a high heat until it boils, then reduce to a low heat and cook for a few more minutes, until a reduction is achieved. If you want a thicker sauce, add a teaspoon of cornstarch dissolved in cold water.
Serve a loin medallion on the plate and bathe with the sauce. Accompany with a glass of the same wine used in the preparation and garnish of green leaves.
Garlic Chicken with White Wine
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken in pieces
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 500 ml of Garzón Sauvignon Blanc 2015 wine
- Colinas de Garzón Bivarietal Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Sauté the garlic cloves in olive oil in a pot. Set aside once ready. Add the chicken to the pot and brown over medium heat. Once the chicken is cooked, add the garlic and white wine. Cook over a high heat for about 35 minutes, so that the chicken and the wine are well integrated. Stir from time to time, taking care that all the liquid does not evaporate.
