6 Tools You Need To Incorporate In Your Hair Routine to Have Amazing Hairstyle

by RAKI WRIGHT

No one wants to look like they just got out of bed, but not everyone knows how to create different hairstyles. Maybe you want a cute side braid or an elegant updo for that upcoming wedding? The good news is that there are plenty of tools that can help you get the perfect style in no time at all!

Here’s a list of 6 must-have hair care tools if your goal is an amazing hairstyle!

1) Scissors

You might be surprised to see scissors on this list, but they can really make a difference in your hairstyle! Aside from trimming split and damaged ends (which is always recommended), all you need to do is snip little sections of your hair once you’re done curling it. This will give the curls more bounce and enhance their appearance.

If you want to shape your hair a bit more then you will need a pair of thinning shears too. Some examples can be found on this URL, though it is good practice to ask the hairdressers for advice. Whatever model you get, always keep them sharp and clean!

2) Flexi-rods/Wand Curler

When most people think about creating amazing hairstyles, they immediately picture wand curlers or hot rollers because these are some of the tools that stylists use when they want to achieve perfect curls. If you have naturally straight hair, this tool ensures that you’ll get perfectly wavy tresses without spending hours under a dryer.

If you have naturally curly hair, this tool is a must because it will help your curls retain their shape. No more frizzy or dull-looking curls!

3) Hair straightener/Wand Curler

If you already own a wand curler then all you need is an awesome hair straightener! After using the curling iron to style your locks, simply press them with the flat surface of the straighter and watch them smooth down in no time at all. Depending on your hair type you can choose specific models that suit you best for instance: If your hair tends to get oily quickly then make sure you buy one that features a moisture sensor.

But be careful, a hair straightener can be really dangerous if you aren’t careful! It’s advisable to use a heat protector spray before applying any product to your hair. That way you will avoid getting burned and the nutrients in your hair won’t get damaged either.

4) Braid headband (or fabric-covered headband)

This tool is usually used by women with long hair to keep the locks out of their faces. If you have a busy morning routine and can never find time to do your hair then this is definitely the product for you. Braid headbands are great because they take minutes to put on, plus if your hairstyle doesn’t look as good as you’d hoped it’s easy enough to take them off.

Matching the colors can be a challenge if your outfit has a similar color, but you can easily find plain black or white versions that will match your clothing perfectly.

5) Teasing brush

Teasing brushes come in different shapes and sizes but all of them are designed for adding volume to the roots of your hair. You can use these tools when blow-drying or styling your hair with heat (wand curler, straightener, etc.) If you’re not sure which model to buy, simply ask the salesperson for advice.

Other types of brushes are also good for achieving big and voluminous waves like those worn by ladies on the covers of fashion magazines.

6) Bobby pins/Hair Pins

If you want to make your hairstyle last all day long then it’s worth investing in some good quality hairpins (bobby pins). They will keep flyaway strands at bay and make sure that every section of your locks is perfectly in place (for example hair pinned back with no visible stray hairs). It doesn’t matter what type of model you get as long as they are strong enough to stay in place all day! If you want extra volume then try using half-up bobby pins because these can add volume without ruining your overall hairstyle. You can find great tutorials online about how to use different types of bobby pins so take a look if you want to know more!

Just like clothing and accessories, hairstyles are all about personal choices. Experiment with different tools until you find the perfect fit for your hair type, plus try to choose quality products over cheaper ones because this will ensure both longevity and salon-quality results. These 6 tools can help you achieve an amazing hairstyle so use them wisely!
