My soon to be 4-year-old daughter will be a tween…and God forbid a teenager…one day soon.  I hope that she will be confident, brave, and care about the world she lives in.  Right now, she is obsessed with letters, numbers, and writing her name.  But, I wonder what she will care about when she is older.  Will she become an entrepreneur?  An advocate? A role model?

Fortune Girls was founded by a young girl named Madison Ruiz.  The mission is “empowering tween girls (age 6-12) to believe in themselves and make a difference in their community and the world.”

What I love about the Fortune Girls campaign is that it highlights girls of all ethnicities, shapes, and sizes.
