Summer is a fantastic time to hang out in your backyard with your friends and family. If you’re a dog owner, longer days mean more time for your pet to be outside.

While your pet may love to run and dig in your backyard, it can present significant challenges when it comes to keeping a healthy lawn.

Letting Fido loose on your lawn can result in pet waste, dead grass, and pesky holes. It can also be costly to maintain your lawn when pets are involved, not to mention causing health issues through the use of certain chemicals.

A great solution is pet turf, which can be easily installed and maintained to keep your lawn looking great all year. With pet turf, you’re ensured that your pup has a place to play without the headache – and cost – of traditional lawn care.

Why should you invest in artificial pet turf?

There are a multitude of reasons pet turf is a great solution for dog owners. Not only can it save you untold hours caring for a traditional lawn, but it can provide a great looking lawn year-round. If you’re in an area where it’s difficult to grow or maintain grass, artificial pet turf can provide you a consistently green yard no matter what the weather is. It’s also highly durable, easily washable, and safe for your pet.

What do you need to know about pet turf?

Caring for artificial pet turf is easy! You can clean the turf with regular gardening tools like a rake and give it a quick spray to rinse off dirt or waste. Weeds are easy to eliminate and there is no need for chemical maintenance with fertilizers or insecticides.

Artificial turf offers great drainage and provides a more pet-friendly solution than other options like concrete. Moreover, unlike natural grass, the cost of artificial turf is upfront and has no associated long-term maintenance costs.

It also eliminates unpleasant odors and bacteria that arise from pet waste in traditional grass. While it is an investment, pet turf often lasts for many years and saves both time and maintenance costs compared to traditional grass.

What’s the benefit of using artificial turf?

Pet turf offers you a host of benefits that can help you and your dog enjoy your lawn to its fullest. The turf itself is extremely durable and nearly impossible to dig through. Dogs won’t know the difference and the synthetic material removes problematic pests like fleas and ticks. It also eliminates mud, meaning your pet won’t track dirt inside the house.

No grass maintenance means no harsh chemicals, providing a safer place for your pet to play. It also means any little ones playing in your yard won’t be affected by these same chemicals. Your lawn will look great all year long – even in the winter – and you never have to mow another day in your life.

There are a multitude of reasons to consider pet turf over traditional grass. By eliminating labor-intensive lawn care and providing a safe, easily manageable space for your pets to play, you’ll be able to enjoy the summer without any worries.
