What You Need to Know About CBD Cigarettes

by RAKI WRIGHT

The 2018 Farm Bill has encouraged several changes in the CBD industry, including how people are using CBD. One of the most noticeable changes is the rise in the number of cigarette brands offering new CBD-packed versions of their popular tobacco products.

While CBD cigarettes are used precisely as tobacco cigarettes, their effects on the human body are very different. Unlike tobacco, CBD is a non-addictive and non-toxic substance making it a healthier alternative to smoking tobacco cigarettes.

Increasingly smokers are turning to CBD cigarettes to help them quit smoking. CBD and hemp cigarettes are also becoming popular among people searching for a discreet and enjoyable way to consume CBD regularly.

Here is everything that anyone could possibly need to know about the latest smoking trend and how to find the best CBD cigarettes market.

What Are CBD Cigarettes?

CBD cigarettes are sold under a few different names, including CBD pre-rolls, CBD joints, and hemp cigarettes. Despite the other names, all of these products generally offer the same user experience and contain the same base ingredients.

From the outside, CBD cigarettes look just like regular tobacco cigarettes. The principal difference is that instead of containing ground tobacco, it is packed with ground CBD-rich hemp flowers. However, some brands use tobacco as a filler product, so it’s important to read the fine print.

Health-focused CBD cigarettes are less likely to contain tobacco or any other toxic compounds that are often found in regular cigarettes. In line with the 2018 Farm Bill, they also contain no more than 0.3% THC meaning that users won’t experience psychoactive effects from smoking CBD cigarettes.

CBD cigarettes are a popular option for people who are looking to consume CBD discretely throughout the day. They are not the only option, though; CBD vape pens provide many of the same benefits and usability. So, what exactly are the primary differences between these two products, and which one should you choose?

How Are CBD Cigarettes Different from Vaping CBD?

Unlike cigarettes, CBD vape products contain a liquid made up of oil and CBD extract. This liquid is heated, creating a vapor inhaled by the user allowing the CBD to enter their system. Being a liquid means that flavorings can be easily added to CBD vape products resulting in an enjoyable user experience.

Vape products are often criticized for potentially causing long-term health problems and are one of the reasons why CBD cigarettes have become so much more popular. Many studies are investigating the long-term effects of vape products and whether the benefits of CBD outweigh the potential negatives linked to vaping.

The Health Benefits of CBD Cigarettes

CBD has been tentatively linked to a number of health benefits when consumed regularly. Common reasons that people give for choosing to add CBD into their diet include pain management, reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and immune support.

Several interesting studies have shown CBD to be particularly beneficial for people who suffer from chronic pain. CBD interacts with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body, helping them manage how they respond to painful stimuli.

Dealing with long-term pain can be stressful, and products like CBD cigarettes can be useful at treating the pain and dealing with the stress from it. CBD has natural calming properties that, when combined with the act of smoking, may help alleviate some of the stress of chronic pain.

CBD cigarettes are also the most popular CBD option for people trying to quit smoking tobacco products. CBD cigarettes are beneficial as they pack the health benefits associated with CBD and incorporate many of the same satisfying features of tobacco cigarettes.

Are There Any Risks Associated with Smoking CBD?

Many people have a negative association with the idea of smoking due to the many health risks linked to tobacco. This often puts people off smoking CBD cigarettes; instead, they may choose other CBD products such as oil drops and edibles.

The good news is that tobacco-free CBD cigarettes do not pose the same risk to a person’s health as regular tobacco cigarettes. Health-focused CBD cigarettes are free from tobacco and other toxic compounds.

When purchasing CBD cigarettes, it is always important to check the ingredients they contain to ensure that they are 100% tobacco-free. Sticking with popular and reputable brands focused on health is usually a good place to start.
