      We save money by going to the matinee and we are fortunate to have a variety of theaters around that offer lower-priced tickets. Sometimes hubbie and I skip popcorn and drinks and just get them for the kids because spending the time together is more important that spending the money.

    I save money by going to the movie theater closest to me. It isn’t a very busy one, so it doesn’t show a lot of movies, but a ticket is about $6! Also, I hide a bag of popcorn in my purse and bring my own water. 🙂
