Are you a fanatic when it comes to baby care? Do you want to ensure that you do not compromise on the health of your baby by any means? For this, you need to feed healthy food to your body. Now, you have two options. You can buy Healthy Puree for Babies at Funch. The second option is that you can prepare the baby food on your own.

Preparing the baby food requires immense care on your part and you cannot afford to go wrong.

Essentials to remember when making baby food

Go for organic and fresh ingredients

When you decide to make a puree for your baby, then remember one essential rule. First, you need to make sure that you get your hands on fresh ingredients. The good news is that Fresh and organic ingredients always taste better.

Choose the foods recommended for each age group

Secondly, you should choose food items for the baby according to the age. For example, when your baby is less than six months old, then you can start with cooked fruits and vegetables. When your baby is about 6 to 8 months old, then you can give about two tablespoons of puree to the baby.

Secondly, you can also give one tablespoon of meat puree to the baby when he is six to eight months old.

 Go for Bulk prep

Taking care of the baby is an overwhelming process. The reason is that you need to be careful about every intricate detail. It can often become a problem for you to prepare the puree for your baby on a daily basis. The best approach will be to go for bulk preparation in this situation. However, you need to have the facility to store the food properly.

When you start giving purees to your child, start with a single ingredient. The benefit of this practice is that you can identify the Allergens. Once your baby gets used to the single-ingredient puree, then you can add in more ingredients to enhance taste.

When you want to give vegetable puree to your baby, then follow one simple rule of the thumb. It is critical that you roast, steam or boil the vegetables. To make the steaming process easy, you can make use of a rice cooker.

When you blend the baby food, then remember one essential rule. The puree needs to be very smooth. If it is thick or has lumps, then it will be difficult for the baby to have the puree. If the puree does become thick by mistake, then you can add some water to the mixture.

Before introducing purees in your baby’s diet, make sure that you consult a doctor. He will be in a position to guide you about the foods which you should give to the baby. You can try and test a combination of foods that suit the health of your baby. As a mother, it will take you some time to develop the learning curve. However, you will develop the skill eventually.
