As a busy mom on the go, I am always looking to streamline the number of items I have to carry in my purse.  If my cell phone can double as a digital camera, that is one less item to carry and one less item to forget at home.  So, when I heard about the Nokia PureView 808, affectionately known as a photographer’s best friend, I was stoked.
Mobile photography is becoming a trend not just in France but all over the world. This is why mobile manufacturers are trying to wow consumers with gadgets like this one – the Nokia PureView 808. When going on a holiday to France, bringing your digital SLR will require a great effort; just imagine carrying its bulk while walking around the city’s fabulous landmarks. Taking a good quality image is the ultimate photographer’s goal. Good thing Nokia PureView 808 boasts a 41 megapixel camera. Can you believe that? Not a lot of mobile phones have such resolution. Believe it or not, it is true. Although Android devices and iPhones rule the French mobile market, Nokia 808’s selling point is this one of a kind camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon Flash.

Why don’t you head to the Eiffel Tower and take a full panorama view of the city or the nearby Champ de Mars? You will be amazed how you can still manage to zoom your picture for several times and get un-pixilated view as a result. With your Nokia PureView 808, you can roam around the “City of Lights” and take stunning photographs of the old-fashioned architecture of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The only downside of this device is that it’s not in either Windows Mobile, Android or iOs platform. The Belle OS of Nokia doesn’t have too many apps.

The Nokia Map is very realizable for this is the product of Nokia’s intensive research. Same as Google Maps, the built-in mapping service has an assisted GPS that will direct you while driving to places of interest like the extravagant gaming and entertainment hubs of Sofitel Mandelieu Royal Casino and Casino de Roscoff. With this mapping service, you’ll never get lost while walking around France and exploring different palaces to capture even when you don’t have an itinerary. Plus, Nokia PureView provides you with an excellent battery life, decreasing the number of times you will have to charge your smartphone, thus not limiting the number of photographs you can take.

Which double-duty devices do you own?
