Moms don’t get a girls night out very often. But, when I do have the opportunity, I enjoy going somewhere with good food, good drinks, and a good vibe. I can find all three at Bahama Breeze.
Bahama Breeze says that “Caribbean food includes all of your favorites…seafood, chicken and steak…prepared with the flavorful and colorful ingredients of the islands. Some popular dishes are coconut shrimp, jerk chicken pasta, chicken kabobs, ribs with guava BBQ sauce and Key Lime Pie.”
On Saturdays, Bahama Breeze Summer Beach Bash has the party. You bring the friends. They turn up the live music and bring out a mojito bar. You choose your fruit, your rum, and watch the bartenders muddle the perfect summer cocktail.
My favorite item on the menu is the Firecracker Shrimp. How can you pass up “buttermilk battered and crispy fried with a spicy red pepper sauce?”
I can’t wait to try their new drink featuring my favorite fruit – pineapple! THE frozen drink of the summer is served in a fresh cut pineapple. They call it the Bahama Breeze Ultimate Pineapple, and it’s made with Bacardi Oakheart, Coco Lopez and Myers’s Original Dark Rum.
Check the calendar for your location’s live music lineup. The location closest to me features music by a Trinidadian steel drum artist. What sounds more like the islands than the steel drum?
