For a long time now, one of the trends is the color pink. Pink tones in the design of interiors are used infrequently compared to the “classic” shades.
Although it looks very effective, pink color is also able to brighten the room, to give it spaciousness. An overabundance of shades can be a serious mistake of the designer: the room will tire the person. But with a moderate inclusion in the interior, this delicate tone can soothe, helps to relax, relieves stress. Pay attention to the fact that different shades of pink also go well together. But the main thing is to use it without fanaticism, otherwise, you will get a “Barbie style” place.
Living room
Bright colors, a variety of combinations, and any style will be appropriate for decorating the living room. Pink wallpaper is usually used in various combinations:
- Cover the walls with solid color,
- Use a bright pink tone as an accent,
- Use pink wallpapers or drawings.
Decor and various accessories of the pink color are very popular: they allow you to change the appearance of the room without making cardinal decisions and carrying out repairs.
Textiles on the windows can create a cozy, warm atmosphere. Delicate rose will look harmoniously with darker colored drapes or, on the contrary, with contrasting curtains.
In addition to curtains and tulle, from the textile products in pink, designers often advise monochrome rugs with a long pile: they fit perfectly in the Provence, classic, shabby-chic, Scandinavian style. Capes on chairs, sofas, chairs, and stools can harmonize with the carpet, and the interior will look complete. In the kitchen, napkins, tablecloths, and towels with gloves in shades of rose will bring a touch of tenderness.
Kitchen
You can decorate the dining area pink, and the working area with another, more modest color, such as wood, coffee, or beige. The covering of the walls does not have to be monochrome: in the kitchen, the pink patterns on the wallpaper, flowers, and intricate ornaments are quite appropriate. Kitchen unit fronts in pink tones rarely look good, it is better to use only a dark crimson palette for partial furniture trim. But the tiles of the kitchen apron may well have all shades of pink, with it the room will play with new colors.
Pale pink in the kitchen is conducive to hearty gatherings and improves appetite. This can be a problem: against the background of such an airy decor increases cravings for sweets. But the overall atmosphere will turn out cheerful, especially when diluting the color of the rose with bright tones: green, blue, orange.
Bedroom
As for pink – it can be seen in the first rays of the sun during the morning sunrise, coloring the sky and inspiring hope. Pastel colors will give the interior of the room soft and relaxed, make it sweet and bright. The walls can be covered with solid color wallpaper or covered with a floral print. Even a man will like the design of the room in muted pink-beige, pink-peach tones, pastels, and ash shades. In addition to the finish, pink is used as the filling of the room with textiles, like designer toss pillows.
Children’s room
For a girls’ room, it looks good as a gentle pastel tone as well as a caramel with a hint of peach, smoky in combination with gray or steel. And use interesting accents depending on your teen interest. Photo pillow from All About Vibe with cats could change the whole room’s look. Besides that try different shades – the combination of pink and gray, metal, or even gold will look great.
Bathroom
A soft pink shade will decorate a classic interior, and inserts with drawings or patterns will support the thematic direction of the room. Bright shades can be used partly in the form of finishing one of the walls as an accent or as independent elements of the interior. The pink furniture will look unique. The mirrors in the bathroom will look great: reflected pink, especially beautiful. In a large bathroom, you can decorate two walls with pinkish decoration, in a small bathroom, it is better to use this shade for accent decoration on a white background.
