For over 80 years, chiropractic doctors have been treating people with back and neck pain because they know that spinal health is vital to overall good health. Chiropractic care is a holistic medical approach, a science-based system of health care that addresses the whole person – from the inside out.

It involves manual procedures to adjust and align your spine and other joints and restoration of normal movement by the use of physical agents.

Natural Treatment Methods

As mentioned at snapcrack.com/miami-lakes/ page, chiropractors provide natural therapies for back pain, neck pain, headache, or migraine, including tension headaches.

The pain of sciatica (radiating pain in one leg), spondylosis (spinal arthritis), herniated disc problems, degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis), and many other painful conditions can be cured with Chiropractic. Chiropractic care is also beneficial in conditions involving inflammation and also migraine. Chiropractic care can be used alone or combined with other treatments like pain medications, steroids, NSAIDs, and traditional physical therapy.

  • How Does Chiropractic Treatment Work?

Chiropractors treat patients using manual manipulation of the spine, which includes pressure and movement applied to the spinal joints. Chiropractic treatment is painless when done by qualified doctors.

The spine is very delicate, and should thus be handled with care. Chiropractors, like Dr. Timothy Francis Las Vegas, are professional, physicians who do not manipulate or adjust bones; they only adjust joints restricted in place and causing pain in the body.

The chiropractor will also use physical agents, such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation to relax your muscles (like trigger point therapy) and restore normal joint mobility. Chiropractors also recommend lifestyle changes like exercise, stretching techniques, and other ergonomic aids to prevent pain from coming back again.

  • Role Of Functional Medicine in Chiropractic Treatment

Functional Medicine is a new medical specialty that focuses on identifying root causes of illness and integrating these integrative therapies into the treatment plan. Active Edge Chiropractic and Functional Medicine aims to address the whole person: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. For example, patients with chronic pain are often told by their doctors that they are suffering from stress, depression, or tension headaches and must treat these symptoms first before they can help them with their pain. However, research has shown that stress and depression can result in a vicious cycle by causing chronic pain in the body.

  • Finding A Certified and Experienced Chiropractor

Many chiropractors out there are not qualified to diagnose or treat your pain. It would be best if you only went to a chiropractor with a valid degree in Chiropractic and has been treating patients for years. Before you see a chiropractor, ask the doctor if they have any experience treating the pain you have and whether they know the right cause. Also, find out if they have attended educational sessions run by the Chiropractic Foundation. The most important thing is to find a chiropractor who is board-certified and experienced.

Chiropractic is the best way to readjust your spine with pain-free treatment. Chiropractors are not just for the sick but can help you with the everyday aches and pains from doing things like running, working out, or just sleeping wrong. In addition, chiropractic can help heal you from the inside out and prevent future pain from occurring in your body.
