When companies choose to attend a trade show, they want to make sure that they stand out in the show’s crowd. A company can do that by having a booth that is not only quite functional but also attracts plenty of attention.

Here are some ideas for an interactive trade show booth that will help attract customers to your booth.

Start Out by Making Sure You Use Technology in a Purposeful Way

Virtual reality and augmented reality are some of the latest trends found in booths at trade shows. These technologies, that you can see more about at infinityexhibits.com/trade-show-exhibits, offer attendees at your booth a memorable interactive experience. When attendees pass by your booth and see several of their fellow attendees wearing VR goggles, they are sure to be curious about what is happening at your booth.

Another great idea for using technology at your booth are things such as touchscreens and interactive video walls or backlit displays like the ones seen here at infinityexhibits.com. Attendees at a trade show love the idea of being able to physically interact in a way that will give them a self-guided introduction to the products and services that you offer. It is crucial to ensure that you provide subtle, specific technology so as not to overwhelm trade show attendees.

A great added technology feature companies can use would be items like push notifications getting sent to fond of attendees. This technology lets attendees know when something big is happening in your booth, plus it gives you excellent contact information from people attending the trade show.

Do Not Be Afraid of Creating a Competitive Nature for Your Booth

A pretty new buzzword within the trade show industry is something called gamification. This idea is when a trade show booth display uses games to help encourage participation and engagement among trade show visitors.

There are plenty of companies making software specifically to help motivate sales reps and potential customers through the use of gamification. This technology is also a significant force behind some of the most prominent customer loyalty and rewards programs in the marketplace today.

Some of the ideas of how this kind of technology can get used include location-based mobile games, arcade games that offer a nostalgic feel, motion sensor games, trivia games, and carnival-style games such as spinning a wheel or tossing a ring. At the heart of all of this technology lies the purpose of engaging customers in a meaningful way, to keep them interested in your trade show booth display and what you have to offer.

Make Sure That the Interactive Nature of Your Booth Is Part of Your Overall Marketing Plan

Having interactive elements in your trade show display backdrop simply for the sake of having them is not a wise marketing choice. It is crucial for businesses never to lose sight of the fact that any element within their trade show booth needs to be a part of their larger marketing goals at the trade show.

No matter if the goal for a business at a tradeshow is to get more contracts signed, more appointments made, or increase brand awareness, every element of the experience at the tradeshow needs to drive the marketing experience towards that end goal.
