Dinner in and a Red Box movie is cheap.
I enjoy going out with my hubby to dinner and then to the slots for a short time, enjoy the environment, especially if we can stay overh=night at the hotel.
I enjoyed the video and I especially enjoyed the young man who came to his wifes office and set up lunch for her, was very cute.
I enjoy their videos. They have much food for thought.
An inexpensive date night would be an early evening walk in a local park and then a picnic supper under a tree.
A good movie and popcorn is my inexpensive night out.
A free date night is to take a walk along the river walk.
A walk in the park or a visit to a museum always appeals to me and costs little or nothing.
My favorite low cost date is a frozen pizza, quality root beer and Netflix.
Doing fun things together is so important and it’s FUN. I live on the Florida coast and even just going out to the beach in the evening and getting ice cream and walking is enjoyable and inexpensive. 🙂
I like that the video shows people doing things that don’t cost a fortune and involve some exercise. Just talking, walking, or going to a museum is quality time.
I really like the video, it let me know that I am doing things right.
My favorite low cost date would be picnics.
Picnic at the park!
We love picnics in the park for our date nights 🙂
We love to check out a movie from the library to watch – cheap as in free!
I need to make date nights more of a priority with my husband!
I have actually thought it was important to date your spouse! It is important to take time for each other and make each other a priority.
We have a dollar show theatre around us. We love to catch a show, go for a romantic walk, and make a dinner together! Cheap and super romantic!
I don’t have a spouse or significant other so the video wasn’t applicable to me
Pizza and a movie would be the perfect inexpensive date night for me
We make it a priority by leaving money in the budget for occasional babysitting.
Our cheap at home date night is watching a movie on Netflix with snacks after the kids are in bed for the night.
A low cost date night for my husband and I is to sit in the hot tub and watch a show together after the kids go to bed.
We have a date night with a free Redbox code movie and a $5 pizza! Spending time together is most important!
Liked the video!I think it is important to have time together and even married, still have date nights!
I like to go to the free concerts we have in the park as a date night and take some snacks/beverages.
I think the video had some great ideas for couples to stay close and communicate.
I think sitting and watching the sun go down is a nice date. How about a motorcycle ride?
We enjoying bbq and drinks outside on our patio. No babysitter needed!
We love to go running together!
I am not married but I would definitely go out on dates with a future spouse if I do marry.
A low cost date is going to a local state park with a picnic lunch!
We take our daughter to grandmas and go see a movie and have dinner
We do movie nights or I use blogging to help us review “events” for free!
My favorite low cost date would have to be a picnic!
We make dates with each other a priority by planning ahead and making sure we have nothing that is gong to get in the way of our plans.
My husband works out of state as a Lineman, so he is only home on weekends or every other weekend. After the kids go to bed we have Skype dates and when he’s home on the weekend, we stay up after the kids go to sleep to get alone time! We don’t get to go ‘out’ on many dates because he wants to spend time with the kids when he’s home, but we make our alone time special 🙂

One of the things that we enjoy doing the most is packing a picnic and spending time out by our local lake together.

We like to rent movies and make nice dinners for each other.
The video brought back memories. We have empty nest as of the last 3 months. Before we used to belong to a bowling league. I think we need to start dating again now that our kids are taking care of themselves.
Movies have been the norm lately. Popcorn or a pizza.
My favorite low cost date night is going on a picnic dinner on the beach.
I make dates with my husband a priority by having one Saturday a month a just us night. Sometimes we go to the movies or stay at home alone and listen to some light jazz by candlelight.
We like to get out AT LEAST once a month. Even if it’s only McDonalds cheeseburgers…it’s a date!
I think the video was spot on and said a lot in a short amount of time.
Forgot to add that to make dates with a spouse: we set time aside at least once a week to relax and touch base.
Our low cost date is to go out for lunch instead of a dinner.
Have my sister watch the kids and rent a movie and make a dinner together spend time with out kids for a night and a free baby sitter!
Good ideas and keeps the excitement going. I’ve been single for years, and my kids are one of the % that don’t know their dads in their lives. They left me when i was pregnant. BUT ones in prison now, and the other is now a drug dealer. soooo they’re better off. That being said, I don’t date anymore. i don’t trust people, my oldest son has minor brain damage and he’s hard to handle. id never be able to trust someone with him, not to hurt him. last time i went on a date was 3+ years ago.
for a low cost date.. I’ve never been on a “date” that they didnt make me pay, but Just go to taco bell, buy me two chulupas, and lets watch netflix and ill be a happy camper 🙂
My best low cost date is a picnic in the park or a redbox and popcorn at home.
I thought the video showed some very realistic ways to connect with our spouse at little moments that we can grab. We have raised 4 children & never set up date nights. We should have. We are in the process of adopting 3 of our granddaughters. At 50 years old, it’s certainly not what we were expecting at this stage in our lives, but God is sending his message loud & clear that He will be here with us. I think we’ll be setting up date nights now!
One of our favorite things to do to “get away” occasionally, would be to go to Barnes & Noble after a meal out. On the weekends they stay open (or used) until midnight. So we’d go peruse books, pick out our favorite magazines, find a comfy chair & read through the magazines & just enjoy some quiet time together.
My husband and I just celebrated our 15th anniversary. We go on date night once a month.Thank you
An expensive way to find time together, is just to go for a walks on nature hikes. Thank you
I think a great cheap date would be beer and more s by a campfire.
I think their videos are cute and informative!
An inexpensive date is a nature walk!
A free or low cost date is walking on the beach together and then enjoying a cup of coffee.
I got a lot out of the video. It had some good reminders about how important it is to stay connected and to make time for each other.
My husband and I make time by scheduling it and not backing out!
For date nights that are inexpensive we got to our local park and hike and picnic.
I like getting a meal at Chilis for meal deal and going to movies using my college id.
nice video! ya, we make sure that no matter how busy and how many plans we have we always make time to do lunch, or have dinner together
Our cheap date nights are watching Dateline, a movie thats on demand and make a fun dinner at home!
Favorite free date is a picnic and then watching the stars!
After being married to the love of my life for almost 27 years and being together for 31 years we sometimes get busy but this video is a reminder to keep that love life going. We do have dates and I love each and every one. With the grandkids and the kids still very active in our lives we need to keep things fresh. I think after watching that video I’ll ask him out on a date right now.
Free low cost dates are usually at a park with a little picnic and a walk. We have to eat anyway, might as well make a date of it.
We rent a few Redbox movies and set up a picnic on the living room floor. We pretend we’re at the drive-in like when we were young!
I love the video. We ensure we get a date night by remembering that it strengthens our communication and bond and is a necessary treat.
A cheap date for my husband and I include take-out and watching DVRd Days of Our Lives. We record a week at a time and watch them together.
Our favorite free date is fishing! Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night, fishing.
A bon fire is the perfect setting for date night.
I love the video. It reminds me that we need to let the world disappear for just a second and focus on just us. With 3 kids, we really have had a real date in years.
The video is nice. It has some pretty good ideas. They couldn’t hurt, lol.
I don’t have a spouse, so I don’t have to ‘keep love alive,’ lol. But I think a great low-cost date is simply going on a walk through town or a park.
Dinner at home and watching a DVD is an inexpensive way to have date night.
We both love movies, so we do a lot of movie nights – both inside with DVDs and at the theater.
Luckily, we don’t have an issue carving out time for one another – having schedules that allow for quality is also a plus.
I think it’s very important to re-connect with your spouse.
I like dinner and a movie or picnics.
