Looking for a different way to celebrate your kid’s birthday party? Tired of throwing the same boring get-together at a fast-food restaurant or ice-cream parlor? There are many options when it comes to alternative birthday parties and indoor ninja obstacle courses are one of them. Ninja classes are generally led by an instructor who puts kids through their paces in a safe environment. Instead of filling them with burgers and ice-cream, why not make the event more active?

Functional Skills

Places like Ninja Parc playground and fitness centers are popping up everywhere. They are indoor obstacle courses that are designed to keep kids fit and active while having hours of fun. They run all sorts of events and cater for birthday parties, school outings, and more. If you decide to have your birthday party at a fitness playground, the staff will look after everything, including:

  • Food
  • Birthday cake
  • Drinks
  • Activities

To get kids exciting about the party ahead, a qualified coach will bring them along the course and show them how to use all the obstacles. The entire course is designed to be fun and functional. Each challenge promotes a variety of movements that mimic everyday actions such as running, jumping, catching, and swinging.

Strength Training

Although there are plenty of activities to do as a family on your child’s birthday, it is nice to sit down and relax while a certified trainer brings them around an obstacle course. Training your body can be done at any age and it is highly beneficial for kids who participate in other sports. Running through an obstacle course and practicing each skill is a full-body workout for everyone who participates, and the kids feel great after their program.

Problem Solving

Another great thing about ninja obstacle courses is that they challenge kids to think for themselves and solve problems that are presented to them. There are plenty of ways to complete a challenge and kids are encouraged to find other ways around the course. They also learn to adjust to changing conditions and memorize the best way to progress through the course. The skills they pick up on a ninja obstacle course will stay with them through life.

Motor Skills

While having fun moving through the course, kids are unaware that they are improving their gross and fine motor skills. Gross motor skills help them with movements such as walking, jumping, and running. While fine motor skills help kids learn how to write and draw pictures.

Social Skills

There are many social benefits to organizing a birthday party in a ninja obstacle fitness center. Kids get to mix in an environment where they are encouraged to work together to solve problems. It allows them to develop skills like cooperation and teamwork.

As you can see, there are many good reasons to try something different for the kids at their next birthday party. When you book an event at an indoor ninja obstacle course, the staff generally look after all of the activities and assign each party a coordinator.
