While a green environment makes the home look splendid, some green can be hazardous. As such, there is every reason to ensure that you have dealt with it fast and professionally.

How you deal with green determines if it will grow again soon, or it will die completely. To save you the trouble of always dealing with green in your home, house cleaning services Austin TX have shared seven simple, yet effective ways to clean green.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil, once sprayed on a surface affected by mold, works within a few minutes. What you need to do is have 2 cups of water. Measure two teaspoons of this oil and add it to the water. Spray the solution on green and leave it.

After some time, rinse the surface with clean water. You may use a brush or broom to sweep away the mold as you rinse.

Olive Oil

One of the areas that green loves growing is on furniture, especially those exposed to wet weather. If you live in areas where your furniture is affected by mold regularly, buy olive oil. Clean the table and allow it to dry completely.

Apply olive oil. That’s all, and you will never again see green growing on your furniture.

Buy Commercial Green Cleaning Products

If you cannot make home-green-cleaning-products, try to buy some from reliable dealers. However, you have to be careful when purchasing them because not all products are effective in cleaning green.

On the other hand, not all effective chemicals are safe for you. So, check the safety as well as the effectiveness before making a purchase.

And if you’re in the NYC area, read this awesome blog post on how to do cleaning service in New York.

Buyer Air Purifiers

If you love flowers like me, you would definitely be tempted to have several flowers indoors, right?

But did you know that flowers, as long as there is moisture, will definitely attract the growth of mold? That’s why; if you can avoid growing flowers indoors, it would be great. In their place, use air purifiers to freshen the air.

Even so, you ought to be careful with the type of purifier you are buying so as not to suffer from respiratory diseases.

Cornmeal

Many a time, when you have toddlers at home or have a party, you may never notice that there was juice or wine spillage on your carpet. As such, you are likely to imagine that the carpet is clean and requires no vacuum cleaning. All this time, mold will be growing under the carpet.

To stop such occurrences, apply cornmeal on the carpet. It will absorb all the liquid spillages.

Castile Soap

Castle soap plus washing soda can do magic! Let me explain how. Add one drop of castile soap into a bottle. Next, add the washing soda and hot water. Seal the bottle and shake for a few seconds. Spray the water on areas affected by mold.

Hot Water

One of the most affected areas by green is the kitchen sink. Why? Often, you pour oil and broth soup. That definitely results in the growth of mold. To deal with this green, pour boiling water on your sink after you are through with all cleaning tasks.

That could be a few minutes before going to bed.
