A common misconception that people have about their home’s curb appeal, is that they only need to focus on the exterior of their house. The inside of your home shines through on the outside, and if designed well, it can really up your curb appeal.

If you’re looking to impress your neighbors and become their new style inspiration and source of envy, you’re in luck! Here’s everything you need to know about upgrading the curb appeal of your home from the inside out! Follow this easy guide and become the envy of your neighbors in your new home!

Start with the floor

The first thing on your list for upping your interior design and curb appeal is to start from the ground up and focus on the floor. This is especially important if you have large windows and your floor is visible from the outside. Having the right, stylish floor in your home can really pull the whole room together, and make it look more presentable from the outside. Whether you’re looking for something rustic, modern, or sustainable, finding the right flooring tile materials is key. Do some research, find out what you’re into, and swap out those old, dusty floors for something new and exciting!

Refresh your door

One easy way to boost your curb appeal and give your interior a good facelift is to update your door. Whatever material your door is made of, everything fades and wears away over time. A rusted, frumpy, or unattractive door can make your home look run down from both inside and outside. The easiest way to upgrade your door, without getting a new one, is to refresh the paint or give it a good clean. Consider upgrading your doorknobs, keyholes, or house numbers to give it that little extra something. Refreshing your door is the easiest way to make a small change with a big impact and up your curb appeal.

Upgrade your windows

The windows are to your home as your eyes are to your face. If you want to give your home a facelift both inside and out, you can try upgrading or refreshing your windows. This can mean anything from giving them a good clean to swapping them out completely. When choosing new windows for your home, you have to think about style, function, privacy, and light. You want your windows to look good and match the style of your home, but you also want them to be practical. Do some digging, find out what kind of windows would be best for you, and up that curb appeal!

Decorate

Whether you’re dealing with interior or exterior design, never underestimate the power of decorations! There are plenty of ways to decorate your home from the inside that will boost your curb appeal. From putting up stylish and framing curtains on your windows to putting up cute fairy lights. From creating a cohesive and stylish design on the inside of your home to adding lots of plants and art. On the outside of your home, you can experiment with fun doormats, plants, lights, and other decorations to spruce things up. Get creative and think outside the box, but keep the exterior look of your home in mind to up your curb appeal.

Keep things clean

Last but certainly not least, if you want to impress your neighbors with the interior of your home, you have to keep it neat and tidy. Oftentimes, even the simplest and barest of homes look great from the outside looking in, simply because they’re clean and tidy! Make an effort to keep things neat around your house, even rooms that are not visible from the outside, and you’re sure to be the envy of your neighbors in no time! Housework is never easy, but try to find a way to make it fun, to keep your home looking great both inside and out!

So there you have it! With these pointers in mind, you’re ready to take the interior of your home to the next level and upgrade your curb appeal in no time! Start from the ground up and give your floors a makeover to kick things off. Give your doors and windows a refresher to pull everything together and give the outside of your home a facelift.

Do some research and experiment and get creative with how you decorate to take your curb appeal and interior to the next level. Finally, don’t forget to keep things neat and tidy on the inside to be the envy of your neighbors on the outside. Keep this guide in mind, good luck, and happy designing!
