January is the start of a new month and more importantly a new year. What resolutions have you made?

Common resolutions include stopping smoking, losing weight, eating healthy, working out, saving money, learning a new skill, traveling, spending more time with family, and getting a new job.

This post will share four easy tips on on how to save money on your New Year’s resolutions.

1. Plan & Budget

The first way to save money on your New Year’s resolutions is to make a plan and set a budget. Planning how you will accomplish the goal will make it much more likely to succeed. Setting a budget says that the resolution is important to you. As the saying goes, “what gets measured gets done.”
