Traveling to the Inner Harbor Baltimore? This post shares five tips to save money on hotels, meals, and attractions while visiting Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

This post is sponsored.

My husband and I took a long weekend to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. It’s about 4-1/2 hours away. We drove up on a Thursday night and returned Monday afternoon.

I checked Groupon Coupons, and found a $10 discount through Hotels.com, and get Hotel.com points.  I cross-checked it with the Hyatt website and found that I could get the same room for $1 more, with my Hyatt FREE membership, and get Hyatt points.  So if you use Hotels.com more than you stay at Hyatt, it’s a better deal!

We stayed at the Hyatt Place downtown and it was fabulous! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (including great coffee!) each morning and slowly started our day afterward. It was great to not have any schedule whatsoever.

Here’s how we spent our weekend:
Friday – It was a rainy day. We went to Phillips Seafood Restaurant and I had some AMAZING crab cakes.

O.M.G. Crab cakes, fish, scallops, and clam strips. THIS is why I LOVE maryland!

Saturday – Although it was a little windy, I explored the city by foot and had a relaxing two-hour mani-pedi session.
Sunday – I sat on the hotel’s terrace in the sun, then treated myself to two scoops of Haagen Dazs.
Monday – Headed out of town on the Orioles’ opening day (they have some die-hard fans!) and cuddled with my babies.

5 WAYS TO SAVE AT THE INNER HARBOR BALTIMORE

1. Use a hotel booking site.
2. Walk instead of driving. Saves gas and parking fees.
3. Park in a parking garage instead of valet at the hotel.
4. Eat out for lunch instead of dinner to enjoy local specialties.
5. Choose a hotel with a free breakfast buffet.

Truthfully, many of the coupons could be found on the stores’ websites, but I wouldn’t have known about them without Groupon Coupons!
