Geddy Lee was the bass player and vocalist for the Canadian progressive rock band Rush for the entirety of their forty-year career. Geddy Lee, a cherished icon of Canadian music and culture, purchased and resided in this grand mansion from the 19th century, built before Canada became a country. This house is located in Rosedale, a neighborhood close to the core of Toronto’s city, but it has the atmosphere of being in a small town on the outskirts of the city. The Residence of Margaret Atwood
Margaret Atwood is widely regarded as one of the most successful authors of the past half-century. Her works, including The Handmaid’s Tale, have established her as a member of the royal family of Canadian literature. Currently, she calls a sizable brick house in the Annex neighborhood to the north of Toronto’s downtown area her home. Large bay windows that extend up the front side of her home give the impression that her residence is unremarkable from the street.
