A family of four can survive on a $60 weekly grocery budget (some families do it for even less).

Here’s what we got at Food Lion this week:

4 lbs ground beef – $6.81

6 lbs chicken wings – $6.17

2.2 lbs pork chops – $3.56

7 lb chicken roaster – $5.33  (Will be doing some bulk cooking.)

2.46 lb strip steak – $1.35

1 lb turkey burgers – $1.85

2.64 lb beef roast – $5.15

Total spent $30.22 for $60.43 worth of meat – Savings of 50%

I plan on making trips to CVS, Walgreens, and Super Dollar Discount Foods to round out the week and spend my remaining $30.
