Most parents and teachers don’t understand the benefits of buying wholesale school supplies. They think buying wholesale means unnecessary purchases and buying more than you need. high school supplies | high school supply list

However, buying wholesale does not mean buying hundreds of items that you don’t need. This blog post will tell you about five types of school supplies you can buy at wholesale rates.

  • Art Supplies

Arts and Crafts are essential for the development of creativity in a child. As per International Children Art Foundation, schools and parents need to ensure children have easy access to materials they need and enjoy. You can use an online retailer or even the Meccle shopping app, to purchase quality crayons, colored pencils, scented gel crayons, watercolor paint sets, washable markers, dry markers, and many more items at a wholesale rate.

  1. Notebooks and Paper

Paper notebooks are still an integral part of the modern learning system. Though some schools use screens for classroom teaching purposes, the students must take notes on paper for later reference. In addition, experts mention notebooks are catalogs that remind children what they have learned and provide a way to reflect on what they have been taught in classrooms.

You can buy a variety of notebooks like spiral notebooks, wide notebooks, composition notebooks, wide ruled filler paper, and construction paper at wholesale rates.

  1. Glues, Erasers, and More

Glues and erasers are essential items of learning. For example, glue is needed for art and craft projects where children need to join two sections of a picture or a design. Erasers are needed to rub out mistakes and make corrections. At wholesale rates, you can buy glue sticks, white school glue, pink erasers, and pencil cap erasers.

If your child is studying in secondary school, you can purchase 6 in one protractors, plastic rulers, index cards, and staplers at discounted rates.

  1. Pens and Pencils

Small children tend to make more mistakes while writing or drawing. Hence, primary learning involves the widespread use of pencils for different study activities. As children grow older and move to secondary education, they prefer pens for study activities. However, they continue to use pencils for scientific diagrams or geometric shapes.

You can buy a variety of pens and pencils at wholesale rates. Some of the pens you can get at wholesale rates are gel pens, grippy pens, blue stick pens, assorted stick pens, fine point pens, and many more. You can also buy small pencil boxes having 12 pieces or pencil boxes having 400 or more.

  1. Folders and Binders

School projects and assignments require students to work on individual sheets of paper. After the assignment is completed, they need to keep all papers in the binder and take them to school the next day. Folders and binders are essential items that enable students to keep important pieces of paper together.

You can buy folders in assorted colors for your children for easy recognition. You can also get ring binder files and tab dividers for easy paper management.

Important Thing You Should Know

The minimum quantity for getting wholesale rate differs for each item. Some items have 12 minimum quantities, while some have 50 or less. Additionally, there is a huge difference in the retail price and wholesale school supplies prices, and you can save a good amount of money by buying in bulk. Also, since these items have a long life, your children can use them in the next academic year.

Now that you know what school supplies you can get at wholesale rates, prepare an inventory list and go shopping.
