by RAKI WRIGHT

While visiting Italy, you can eat several meals daily. Still, there seems to be a limitless number of Italian delicacies you “have to try” before you even consider dessert and beverages.

You want to sample the best of Italian food, from regional specialities to delicious seasonal dishes. We’ve put up a small selection of Italian dishes for you to sample on your trip, so don’t panic. By taking these cooking classes in Italy, you’ll have a fantastic time and pick up some new cooking techniques. We’ve put up a short list of Italian dishes you should try while you’re there.

1. Pizza Workshop in Naples

Make the best of your vacation in Naples by working with an Italian cook to learn how to prepare authentic Neapolitan pizza. Learn the craft of making fresh dough to create a wonderful pizza with ingredients from fresh from the local market, and then savour it with a bottle of wine.

Learn how to make fresh homemade pizza dough using water and flour during the first part of the lesson. Make and bake your creation in the second half of the class. Once your pizza is fully cooked, sit back and relax while you eat, taking in the sights of Naples and the Nuovo Castle. After a wonderful lesson, bid your chef farewell and depart home with the knowledge necessary to make the perfect pizza consistently.

2. Pasta and Tiramisu class

Engage yourself in a small session to make pasta and tiramisu in a warm setting. Discover the techniques behind the region’s most well-known pasta dishes and tiramisu, then savour the results of your effort for lunch or dinner while sipping regional wines. You will be shown how to make two different pasta dishes as well as the Italian dessert tiramisu during this individual course. Your Cesarina will share tips for making these well-known dishes.

Enjoy putting your culinary skills to the test, and when you get home, surprise your loved ones with an Italian supper!

3. Sorrento-Style Gnocchi

In the heart of Naples, indulge your sensations with a foodie Sorrento-style gnocchi cookery class and champagne tasting experience. Enjoy the distinctive flavour of this well-known pasta made from potatoes. As you sample a variety of Campanian wines, take your taste senses on an adventure.

Allow the pure flavours and handcrafted goods prepared from basic components to charm you. Relish your Sorrento-style gnocchi while pretending to be a chef for the day. Enjoy a coffee drink or a luscious lemon sorbet to cap off your experience.

4. Master Arancini Making in Sicily

Sicily offers more than sweet pastries; one of the island’s most famous specialities is the crispy, rice-based arancini. Arancini, which is Italian for “small orange,” gets its name from the fact that it resembles Sicily’s famous oranges stuffed with beef meat sauce. Arancini can also be found with different fillings besides rag, like mozzarella, spinach, and eggplant.

5. Prepare homemade cheese In Tuscany

Without the nation’s hundreds of unique types of cheese, Italian cuisine wouldn’t be as comforting and filling. The cheese created here is authentic, always made by hand using the finest ingredients. Each cheese, from mozzarella to goat’s milk to ricotta, has a unique flavour, method of manufacturing, and heritage. Explore a sheep farm and learn about the craft of making cheese by taking a trip through the breathtakingly beautiful rolling hills. Hear about the family and the value of organic farming. View the cheeses being aged by going to the dairy and the sheep shed.
