The fast pace of modern living can cause a lot of stress and we all need time to recharge our batteries, especially working moms that manage to achieve miracles by balancing a career with motherhood.

Even thirty minutes per day is enough to get back some much-needed energy if you can close your eyes, relax and listen to soothing music, or sit back and enjoy your favorite soap opera.

Annual Holidays

If it is possible to arrange for the kids to be taken care of by your parents, you and your partner can enjoy a Superyacht charter and cruise the Andaman Sea for a week or two; talk to your friends and see if you can get a group together, as this makes yacht charter much more affordable by sharing the cost. If you can have a couple of weeks in a foreign country, this is something to look forward to and even if you do take the kids, it is still good to take a holiday.

Pilates & Yoga

If you like to be active, why not get into yoga or Pilates? There are virtual classes that you can join; search with Google for a local Pilates or Yoga studio that offers virtual courses. Both of these disciplines have a spiritual side and this is essential for mental well-being, which will teach you how to be at one with yourself.

Designating Some Me-Time

If the kids are at school, this is an opportunity to grab some personal me time, otherwise, your partner could be able to cover for you, while you relax a little and recharge your batteries. Some ladies even book spa days or weekends from time to time to really unwind and enjoy the experience, even if you went to the local gym to use their treatment facilities it could make a big difference to your overall wellbeing.

Boxercise

Some people may think that anything, including the word ‘boxer,’ is going to either be a dog or, be a full-on aggressive sport. Fortunately, Boxercise is neither of the two, although, getting a new pet could be good for you. Anyhow, Boxercise got its name because it derives from the training that professional boxers do in order to stay in shape, so, you can have all the fun of training without getting bopped in the face.

Going for a walk amongst nature

Going for a long stroll can do you the world of good, but there is something extra special about going for a walk amongst nature. If you have a local park or forest, then that would be ideal, use the time to really clear your mind, open your mind to new ideas and thoughts, some people even say that going for a walk in the forest is like a form of meditation.

Go tech-free for a couple of days

It goes without saying that technology has helped in many ways, however, in terms of our minds, the constant exposure to some kind of radio-emitting device really isn’t good. There are more people affected mentally by health issues ranging from the obsession with the device itself all the way to being self-obsessed about how they look. Who cares, turn your device off for a couple of days and get stuck into a novel or two.
