I’m spending the morning relaxing while watching my all-time favorite movie The Parent Trap. I remember watching it for the first time when I was about 10 years old.
Of course, I can’t watch this movie without my favorite movie snack – Goobers!
For lunch, my friends and I are taken to dine at The Outback Steakhouse. Bouquets of purple lilies greet us upon arrival.
On our way home, our car unexpectedly hits a time warp and we’re teleported back to the set of my favorite romance film – Something New.
I find myself playhing the role of my favorite character Kenya.
Suddenly, I’m Hollywood’s next big star! I’m strutting down every red carpet and being invited to all the exclusive premieres…I’m even dating the cutest movie star (Simon Baker) and our celebrity couple name is Rimon (Raki + Simon).
Suddenly, I wake up and find myself safely back in my bed. Looks like I must have dozed off and started dreaming.
I am so thankful that I still have both of my grandmothers and my mother. They all have been able to see me grow as a woman, wife, and mother.
I’ve been a mom for nearly 12 years (since 2002). My best advice to moms is “putting your personal needs before your family’s.” This was one of my thoughts about Tsh Oxenrider’s book Notes from a Blue Bike: The Art of Living Intentionally in a Chaotic World.
Rules!
You knew that there was going to have to be some, but I promise we are totally keeping it tame.
1) You don’t have to stick to the theme of “memories of Mother’s Day” if you don’t want to, just as long as you have linked up Mother’s Day themed posts we are happy as clams!
2) Nothing that is controversial, I have no idea how you would manage that with this theme but just throwing that out there.
3) Though you don’t have to run around and comment on everyone’s post we would LOVE you so much if you would hope around to a couple that POP out to you. If you love it share it, give some love. NO PRESSURE!
4) HAVE FUN!!!
