Do you need a planner for working moms to help you keep up with work, family, household, and personal demands? This list of the best planners for working moms in 2022 is just for you!

Although my work in digital strategy at an advertising agency (and this blog!) keep me on the computer and internet all day long, I prefer to track appointments, etc. in a paper planner. I like the tactile practice of writing things down and being able to visually see my week, on paper, at a glance.

When I am shopping for a new calendar, these are the features I look for:

year format
size
contents
color
timeframe (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
price point
tabs?
materials quality

These are my preferences in the best planners for working moms:

Calendar year format (NOT academic year)
5″ x 8″ size. I don’t like the full page size because it’s inconvenient for me to transport. I don’t like smaller calendars because they are more difficult to write in.
Beyond the weekly and monthly calendars, I don’t really need much else. Having a pre-printed list of holidays and full year calendars for the current and next two years is nice. But, I don’t use the address book and don’t need a lot of extra space for notes.
I usually pick a feminine color (purple is my favorite!), but if not black or navy suits me fine.
Weekly two-page spread, with a monthly calendar at the beginning of each month. I don’t have the need to track many appointments every day along with to do items. However, I do prefer that the hours be pre-printed in the weekly spreads.
I try to stay in the $20 price point range.
I like monthly tabs for easily navigating to future months.
I prefer a plastic cover and back. It helps the calendar to hold up better.
