My best mosquito tip is one that I just learned. I was told that if you put Vick’s Vapor Rub around your knees and ankles, the mosquitos won’t bite your legs when wearing shorts. I have tried it and it seems to work!

I purchase a citronella plant every year. When we are outside I rub my exposed arms in the plant as well as my sons.
I will pull a leaf off and rub it on the other parts of our bodies. Seems to work for the most part! Have been doing it for two seasons so far.
