Bulk cooking for busy moms

Well,  it’s Sunday…

  • my crockpot is cooking a whole chicken seasoned with McCormick rotisserie seasoning;  and
  • I’ve browned 3 meals’  worth of ground beef (See Life As Mom’s Tips for Buying &  Using Ground Beef) in my refrigerator.

This week’s meals will likely include:

Rotisserie chicken

Buffalo Chicken Salad

Smoked Chicken Salad

Tacos with Beef and Pintos (from the freezer)

Rotini Bake

Sloppy Joes

…and all I spent was 30 minutes in the kitchen to get all this started.

Thanks to Life as MomGood Cheap Eats,  and AllRecipes for the great recipes.

  • Ooh.. those are great recipes and amazingly quick too. Thanks for sharing them. I must check them out. Rotini Bake, especially, sounds yum. How was it? :-)

    • Prerna, Thanks so much for stopping by. I am an avid reader of your site and enjoy all of your easy-to-use, practical tips.

The Rotini Bake is DELICIOUS! It’s one of my go-to meals. I’m a Southern girl, so my red sauce is usually sweet (with sugar or artificial sweetener). We have some version of pasta, red sauce, ground beef, and cheese just about every week. Sometimes it’s just prepared on the stove, sometimes it goes in the oven after. There are so many possibilities for each ingredient.

  • Mmm! I will have to try the Buffalo Chicken Salad for sure!

  • It’s delicious. Especially good way to get your buffalo wings fix if you’re the only one in your family who likes them.
